Spare parts inventory management optimization of a selected company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na téma optimalizace řízení zásob náhradních dílů ve vybraném podniku. V rešeršní části je vysvětlen pojem řízení zásob, náklady a rizika s ním spojené, modely řízení zásob, diferenciace zásob, stanovení řídících hladin zásob a význam optimalizace zásob náhradních dílů pro podnik pohybující se ve vysoce konkurenčním prostředí. V analytické části je detailně popsán způsob řízení zásob náhradních dílů ve vybraném podniku s důrazem na zavedené procesy, výši skladových zásob, dostupnost náhradních dílů a náklady s tím spojenými. Ve třetí kapitole jsou shrnuty nedostatky stávajícího řízení zásob náhradních dílů. V poslední části je popsán návrh řešení.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on topics of optimization of spare parts inventory in a selected company. The theoretical part explains the concept of inventory management, costs and risks associated with that, inventory management models, differentiation of inventory, determination managing inventory levels and the importance of optimizing spare parts inventory for a company operating in a highly competitive environment. The practical part describes in detail the concept of spare parts inventory management in the selected company with a focus on established processes, the inventory level, parts availability and costs associated with that. In the third chapter the weaknesses in the current spare parts inventory management are summarized. In the last part there are some recommendations for optimization.
