Moravian margrave Prokop

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá osobností moravského markraběte Prokopa. Největší pozornost je věnována třem válkám s jeho nejstarším bratrem, markrabětem Joštem. Dále se práce zaměřuje na proměny vztahu Prokopa s českým králem Václavem IV. a uherským králem Zikmundem. Práce je založena především na výzkumu literatury. Výsledkem práce je pohled na působení markraběte Prokopa ve 2. polovině 14. a počátkem 15. století nejen v rámci moravského markrabství, ale i českých zemí, Polska a také Uher.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with Prokop, Margrave of Moravia. The biggest attention is being paid to Prokop's three wars with his oldest brother, Jobst of Moravia. The thesis also focuses on the changes of Prokop's relationships with the Czech king Václav IV. and the Hungarian king Zikmund. This bachelor thesis is based mainly on the research of literature. The result of this piece of work is Prokop's influence in the 2nd half of the 14th and in the beginning of the 15th century, not only within the Margraviate of Moravia, but also within The Czech lands, Poland and Hungary.
