Risks associated with anthropogenic activity

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na antropogenní činnosti v přírodě a na rizika spojená s nimi. Poukazuje na problémy ve světovém měřítku a poté na znečištění ovzduší, vody a nelegální skladování odpadu v České republice. Hlouběji se poté zabývá vlivem těžební činnosti na životní prostředí i na dopady pro obyvatelstvo žijící v blízkosti těžebních oblastí. Na příkladu dolu Turów poukazuje na možné problémy, které mohou nastat právě u důlní těžby. Dále se zabývá nápravou těchto problémů pomocí rekultivace a obnovy krajinných prvků. Je zde rozebrána analýza rizik s možnými metodami zkoumání a v praktické části je provedena SWOT analýza týkající se právě důlní hlubinné těžby. Pomocí ní jsou určeny její silné a slabé stránky a možné příležitosti těžebního průmyslu do budoucna. Také nám určuje hrozby, které mohou nastat právě při důlní těžbě a které ohrožují životní prostředí, důlní společnosti a v neposlední řadě horníky samotné. Dále je provedena metoda UMRA, která nám určuje rizikovost důlní těžby a následně je zpracována komparace obou metod.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on anthropogenic activities in nature and the risks associated with them. Shows us the problems on a global scale and other problems like air pollution, water pollution and illegal storage of waste in the Czech Republic. Then it deals more deeply with the impact of mining activities on the environment and the impact on the population living near the mining areas. Using the example of the Turów mine, it points out the possible problems that can occur in mining. Then it deals with the correction of these problems by using recultivation and restoration of landscape elements. The end of theoretical part focuses on risk analysis with possible investigation methods and in the practical part is a SWOT analysis relating to deep mining is used. Using this analysis, we are able to see strengths and weaknesses of mining and possible opportunities of mining industry for a future. It also tells us the threats that can occur during mining that threaten the environment, mining companies and last but not least, the miners themselves. At the end of the work there is an UMRA analysis, which shows risks of mining industry and then there is a comparation of these metods.
