Práce nejprve definuje audiovizuální dílo, technické prostředky uchování a šíření audiovizuálních děl. Dále se zabývá prostředím internetu ve vztahu k šíření audiovizuální tvorby, popisuje současný stav v České republice a ve světě. Zmiňuje právní stránku distribuce audiovizuálního díla. The thesis first defines audiovisual works, technology preservation and dissemination of audiovisual works.
