Occupational therapy in psychiatry - Bipolar Affective Disorder

Abstract:

Ergoterapie v psychiatrii je nedílnou součástí ucelené léčby klienta s psychiatrickou diagnózou. Snaží se o znovu navrácení nemocného zpět do samostatného způsobu života. Pomáhá mu utvořit na danou nemoc náhled a poskytuje mu důležité podněty pro jeho společenský, pracovní a osobní život. Ergoterapie v psychiatrii využívá škálu nejrůznějších terapeutických metod a činností. V teoretické části popisuji vznik, příznaky, formy, diagnostiku, průběh a léčbu tohoto onemocnění. Dále se zabývám možnostmi rehabilitace v psychiatrii, ergoterapií obecně a jejím uplatněním u psychiatrického onemocnění a tím jaký dopad má onemocnění na život člověka s psychiatrickou diagnózou po psychické, sociální a pracovní stránce. V hlavní části popisuji kazuistiku klienta s bipolární afektivní poruchou. Je zde popsáno orientační vyšetření, stanoven krátkodobý ergoterapeutický plán, zaznamenán průběh terapie a vypracován dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán.

Abstract:

Occupational therapy in psychiatry is an integral part of a comprehensive treatment of the client with a psychiatric diagnosis. It seeks to return the patient back again in a separateway of life. It helps him to form a view on the disease and provide the impetus for itsimportant social, occupational and personal life. Occupational therapy in psychiatry uses a variety of differenttherapeutic methods and activities. In the theoretical part describes the origin, symptoms, ypes, diagnosis, course and treatment of this disease. Another part deals with the possibilities of rehabilitation,psychiatry,occupational therapy in general and its application in psychiatric illness and thus the impact of disease on the life of a person with a psychiatric diagnosis of mental, socialand professional site. The main part of a case report describing a client with bipolar affective disorder. It describes orientation tests, set short-term occupational therapy plan, recording the long-term therapy and occupational therapy plan developed.
