Zahraniční politika ČLR vůči Africe - případová studie Etiopie

Abstract:

Se zhoršujícími se vztahy mezi ČLR a západními zeměmi se stává zásadním pro zahraniční politiku ČLR v tomto desetiletí zajištění stabilních vztahů s Afrikou. Práce využívá metodu případové studie a jejím cílem je prozkoumat zahraniční politiku ČLR vůči Etiopii. První kapitola rozvádí základní principy, cíle a nástroje zahraniční politiky ČLR vůči Africe. Druhá kapitola konkrétně zkoumá politické a ekonomické cíle, které ČLR v Etiopii sleduje, a politické a ekonomické nástroje, kterých ČLR využívá. Třetí kapitola se věnuje vyhodnocení politických a ekonomických překážek, kterým ČLR čelí při dosahování svých cílů v zahraniční politice v Etiopii.

Abstract:

Whereas relations between the PRC and Western countries have been deteriorating, ensuring stable relations with Africa has become vital for the PRC’s foreign policy agenda in the current decade. Therefore, this thesis intends to use a single-case study as the methodology to examine the PRC’s foreign policy strategy in Ethiopia. The first chapter elaborates on the fundamental principles, objectives, and instruments of the PRC’s African policy. The second chapter further investigates the political and economic objectives that the PRC seeks in Ethiopia and the political and economic instruments used by the PRC. The third chapter evaluates the PRC’s political and economic obstacles to achieving its foreign policy objectives in Ethiopia.
