Comparison between traditional Kinesitherapy and Hydrokinesitherapy following surgery for subacromial impingement.
Abstract:
Subacromial impingement syndrome consists of an inflammatory and degenerative clinical picture of the rotator cuff tendons and of the subacromial bursa. The rotator cuff tendon mainly involved is the supraspinatus one, but also the tendon of the long head of the biceps brachii can be the cause of the impingement. La sindrome da conflitto sub-acromiale consiste in un quadro clinico infiammatorio e degenerativo dei tendini della cuffia dei rotatori e della borsa sub-acromiale. Il tendine della cuffia dei rotatori coinvolto nella maggior parte dei casi ? quello del muscolo sovraspinoso, ma puo' entrare in conflit-to anche il tendine del capo lungo del bicipite brachiale.
