My studies are not multiple-subject where at least one of the subjects is taught in Czech and the language used for writing my diploma thesis is English.

Abstract:

According to economists, gross domestic product (GDP) is often considered to be the best indicator for measuring economic growth; the study of which happened to consume economists for numerous years, specifically in their continuous quest for identifying potential underlying determinants that could help explain the difference in income levels observed across countries. In this study, the researcher, as well, aims to identify the potential determinants of economic growth in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region during the period 1960 – 2019 in light of both the 1950s exogenous growth theory and the 1980s endogenous growth theory; by comparing between the results of three different econometric techniques, namely the Pooled (Ordinary Least Squares), the Fixed Effects, and the Random Effects (Generalized Least Squares), applied to three different econometric models developed specifically for this study.
