Electromagnetic system for parallel positioning of magnetic bodies

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá elektromagnetickým systémem pro paralelní polohování magnetických těles. Systém se skládá z miniaturních robotů tvořených permanentními magnety a aktuátorem sestávajícím ze soustavy planárních cívek. Práce se skládá z navržení matematického modelu, simulací, návrhu experimentálního prototypu a samotného experimentálního zařízení. Nejprve je určen matematický model vycházející z rovnice pro rozložení magnetického pole. Následoval test na konvergenci modelu na energii magnetického pole. Na základě sestaveného matematického modelu byly provedeny simulace v programu Agros2D, v němž byly analyzovány silové účinky koplanárního vinutí na minirobota. Cílem této části bylo zjištění velikosti proudů v jednotlivých vrstvách experimentálního zařízení, aby silové účinky od každé vrstvy byly stejné. Získané hodnoty byly graficky zpracovány pomocí programu MATLAB. V kapitole experimentální zařízení byly využity předcházející výsledky stejně jako zkušenosti s planárním polohováním na FEL ZČU pro návrh nového prototypu Gryllus 2. Dále je popsáno rozložení vinutí v jednotlivých vrstvách desky plošných spojů a jejich funkce. Celé zařízení je dále modelováno v programu SolidWorks. Návrh samostné desky plošných spojů byl proveden v programu KiCad. V podkapitole výroba DPS je popsáno skutečné zapojení všech vinutí a změny oproti návrhu zařízení. Dále je stručně vysvětlen kód pro řízení mikrokontroléru. Práce je zakončena výsledky experimentů. Během dvou experimentů bylo cílem zjistit základní funkčnost zařízení. Při prvním byly testovány možnosti pohybu robotů v osách x a y, taktéž bylo vyzkoušeno znemožnění pohybu jednoho robota, zatímco druhý v pohybu mohl setrvat. Druhý experiment byl zaměřen na vzájemné ovlivňování robotů.

Abstract:

The submited bachelor thesis deals with electromagnetic system for parallel positioning of magnetic bodies. The system consists of miniature robots created by permanent magnets, and an actuator created by the system of planar coils. The thesis consists of the design of mathematical model, simulations, the design of an experimental prototype and the experimental prototype itself. First, a mathematical model based on the equation for magnetic field distrbution is determined. This was followed by a test for the convergence of the model to magnetic field energy. Based on compiled mathematical model, simulations were performed in the Agros2D program, in which the force effects of the coplanar winding on the mini-robot were analyzed. The aim of this part was to determine the magnitude of the currents in the individual layers of the experimental device so that the force effects from each layer were the same. The obtained values were graphically processed using the MATLAB program. In the chapter experimental device, the previous results were used as well as the experience with planar positioning at FEE UWB for the design of a new prototype Gryllus 2. The distribution of windings in individual layers of the printed circuit board and their functions are also described. The entire device is further modeled in SolidWorks. The design of a separate printed circuit board was performed in the KiCad program. The actual connection of all windings and changes compared to the device design are described in the subchapter PCB production. Next, the code for controlling the microcontroller is briefly explained. The thesis ends with the results of experiments. During two experiments, the aim was to determine the basic functionality of the device. In the first, the possibilities of moving the robots in the axes x and y were tested, and the impossibility of moving one robot while the other could remain in motion was also tested. The second experiment was focused on the interaction of robots.
