The reaction processes of the system feldspar-water

Abstract:

Během laboratorního rozpouštění perthitických alkalických živců za normálních podmínek dosáhly reakční cesty na stabilitních diagramech pole stability kaolinitu. Rovnováhy s primárními minerály nebylo dosaženo. Na základě experimentů v diskontinuálních reaktorech byly vypočteny kinetické konstanty k (mol m-2 s-1) pro rozpouštění albitu a K-živce a rychlosti uvolňování jednotlivých prvků Na, K, Si do roztoku. Průměrné rychlosti rozpouštění K-živce 2,17.10-12 mol m-2 s-1 (Věžná) a 3,31.10-12 mol m-2 s-1 (Dolní Bory) byly vyšší než rychlosti rozpouštění albitu 1,24.10-12 mol m-2 s-1 (Věžná), resp. 2,79.10-12 mol m-2 s-1 (Dolní Bory). Z jednotlivých prvků se nejrychleji uvolňoval Si a to v rozmezí log k = ~ –12,0 až –10,4. Rychlosti uvolňování K log k = ~ –12,0 až –10,7 byly obecně vyšší než rychlosti rozpouštění Na (log k = ~ –11,8 až –10,0).

Abstract:

During the laboratory dissolution at normal conditions of perthitic alcali feldspars the reaction courses reached the field of kaolinite on stability diagrams. The equilibrium with primary minerals was not achieved. Based on experiments in discontinuous reactor the kinetic constants k (mol m-2 s-1) for albit and K-feldspar dissolution were definied and rates of release Na, K, Si from feldspar to solution were calculated. The average dissolution rates of K-feldspar 2,17.10-12 mol m-2 s-1 (Věžná) and 3,31.10-12 mol m-2 s-1 (Dolní Bory) were higher in comparison to the albite dissolution rates 1,24.10-12 mol m-2 s-1 (Věžná) or more precisely 2,79.10-12 mol m-2 s-1 Dolní Bory). The rates of Si release from feldspar were the highest of all the elements and within the range of log k = ~ –12,0 to –10,4. The dissolution rates within the range of log k = ~ –12,0 to –10,7 for K were higher in comparison to the dissolution rates (log k = ~ –11,8 to –10,0) for Na.
