Abstract:
V této diplomové práci se věnuji mechanickým vlastnostem silicitů využívaných v pravěku Moravy na výrobu štípaných artefaktů. Jako objektivní měřítka jejich kvality byly určeny lomová a rázová houževnatost a mikrotvrdost. Abstract:
In this thesis I study mechanical properties of silicites used in Moravian prehistory for chipped stone manufacture. Fracture and impact toughness as well as microhardness were selected as objective criteria of silicite quality. Whereas microhardness probably reflects the wear resistence of edges, impact and fracture toughness reflect the workability (fissility) of analyzed silicites. Microhardness …more
