Impacts of the growth of municipal waste sorting on municipal budgets

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Dopady růstu třídění komunálního odpadu na rozpočty obcí“ se zabývá zkoumáním vlivu navýšení třídění komunálního odpadu na obecní rozpočty. Cílem bylo na základě modelování růstu třídění komunálního odpadu čtyř vybraných obcí pro různé scénáře odklonu využitelných složek komunálního odpadu vyhodnotit ekonomické dopady pro rozpočty obcí. Byl namodelován scénář zvýšení množství tříděného komunálního v obcích na 63,7 % a snížení množství směsného komunálního odpadu na 120 kg/občana/rok a podle cen, které obce platí za svoz a likvidaci konkrétních složek odpadu a příjmů, které mají za vytříděný obalový materiál bylo vypočítáno, jak by se obecní rozpočty při těchto hodnotách zvýšeného množství tříděného odpadu a sníženého množství směsného komunálního odpadu změnily.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "Impacts of the growth of municipal waste sorting on municipal budgets" deals with the examination of the impact of the increase of municipal waste sorting on municipal budgets. The aim was to evaluate the economic impacts on municipal budgets by modelling the growth of municipal solid waste (MSW) sorting in four selected municipalities, for different scenarios of diversion of recoverable components of MSW. The scenario of increasing the amount of sorted waste in the municipalities to 63.7% and decreasing the amount of MSW to 120 kg/capita/year was modelled, and according to the prices that municipalities pay for the collection and disposal of specific waste components and the revenue they receive for sorted packaging material, it was calculated how the municipal budgets would change with these values of increased amount of sorted waste and decreased amount of MSW.
