Satisfying Needs of Patients in Hospice Care

Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje potřebám nemocných v hospicové péči. V teoretické části je popisována historie umírání a péče o umírající v minulosti a nyní, definice paliativní péče, problematika péče o umírající, hospicová péče a její historie v zahraničí i v České republice, její definice a rozdělení. Dále je zde uvedena definice potřeb, jejich dělení a popis vybraných potřeb. V praktické části je práce zaměřena na konkrétní klienty a na základě jejich výpovědi byly zpracovány podrobné anamnézy. Ty se staly základem pro vytvoření ošetřovatelských procesů věnovaných problémům jednotlivých klientů a jejich nenaplněným potřebám.

Abstract:

This thesis is dedicated to the needs of the sick in hospice care. In the theoretical part is described the history of the dying and care for the dying in the past and now, the definition of palliative care, the issue of care for the dying, the hospice care, its history in abroad and in the Czech Republic, its definition and classification. There is also the definition of needs, their division and a description of the selected needs. In the practical part the work is focused on the specific clients and based on their testimonies was prepared their detailed medical history. This became the basis for the creation of the nursing processes devoted to problems of individual clients and their unfulfilled needs.
