Coping Strategies for Managing Technostress among Younger Employees

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou technostresu a copingovými strategiemi k jeho zvládání. Cílovou skupinou, na kterou se diplomová práce zaměřuje, jsou mladší zaměstnanci ve věku od 19 do 30 let. Cílem práce je navrhnout efektivní copingové strategie ke zvládání technostresu u mladších zaměstnanců. Diplomová práce je uvedena literárním přehledem, který podrobně rozebírá téma tech-nostresu a příčiny jeho vzniku. V závěru tohoto přehledu jsou prezentovány často využívané copingové strategie. Následuje vlastní práce, která obsahuje zpracování kvantitativního výzkumu pomocí dotazníkového šetření a kvalitativního výzkumu formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Na základě výsledků z výzkumu je zodpovězená hlavní výzkumná otázka ohledně efektivních copingových strategií.

Abstract:

The thesis addresses the issue of technostress and coping strategies for managing it. The target group of the thesis is younger employees aged 19 to 30 years. The aim of the thesis is to propose effective coping strategies for managing technostress among younger employees. The thesis begins with a literature review that thoroughly examines the topic of technostress and its causes. At the end of this review, commonly used coping strategies are presented. This is followed by the main part of the thesis, which includes the analysis of quantitative research through a questionnaire survey and qualitative research through semi-structured interviews. Based on the research results, the main research question regarding effective coping strategies is answered.
