Cílem této diplomové práce je seznámit čtenáře se vzdělávacím systémem Velké Británie a metodami využívanými ve výuce matematiky. Teoretická část se skládá ze dvou celků. V prvním je vysvětlen vzdělávací systém obecně, v druhém se práce zaměřuje pouze na matematiku. Pro srovnání jsou v práci popsány i metody využívané v České republice. The goal of this thesis is to introduce the readers to the educational system in Great Britain and methods that are used there in teaching Mathematics. The theoretical part consists of two units. In the first one, the educational system is explained in general. In the second unit the thesis focuses only on Mathematics.
