The aim of this thesis is to describe the process of legitimization of non-state actors in international relations. The thesis consists of two case studies, first, which are focused on the Palestinian Liberational organization and Kosovo Liberational Army and its transformation of terrorist organisations into the representatives of states recognised in international society.
