Comparison of selected teaching methods and techniques to play the slide trombone of the twentieth century.

Abstract:

Úvodní část je teoretická, zabývá se metodikou výuky obecně a pedagogickými zásadami. Jsou zde popsány vybrané techniky a aktivizační metody používané ve výuce i strukturální analýza klíčových kompetencí. Navazuje část práce, která již přechází na teorii výuky hry na pozoun a v úvodu popisuje stavbu nástroje, funkci jednotlivých částí a péči o nástroj. Další část je teoreticko-metodická, zabývá se metodami výuky hry na snižcový pozoun a vychází především z metodik Jaroslava Ušáka a Denise Wicka. V empirické části jsou analyzovány praktické zkušenosti významných současných českých pozounistů a pedagogů, zaměřujících se na metodiku výuky hry na snižcový pozoun i mé vlastní praktické poznatky. V závěru práce je popsán způsob realizace výzkumné sondy sledující praktické dopady jednotlivých metodik výuky na ovlivnění techniky hry žáků. Empirická část končí interpretací výsledků této výzkumné sondy.

Abstract:

The first part of the work is theoretical dealing with general teaching methodology and pedagogical principles. There are described chosen techniques and activation methods used at teaching and there is also a structural analysis of key competencies. The second chapter of the theoretical part focuses on teaching theory of playing the trombone, including the description of the instrument, function of individual parts and a recommended care of the instrument. Another part of the work is theoretical-methodological, concentrating on teaching methods of playing the slide trombone based mainly on the methodology of Jaroslav Ušák and Denis Wick. The empirical part analyses practical experience of significant contemporary Czech trombone players and teachers interested in teaching methodology of playing the slide trombone and also my own practical knowledge. The final part of the work presents the research into the practical impact of various teaching methodologies on the technique of playing of the pupils. The empirical part ends with the presentation of the research findings.
