Ghana je jedním z nejrozvinutějších a nejdemokratičtějších států v Africe. Ghana je prezidentskou republikou, kde prezident je hlavou státu i vlády. Ústava zakotvuje systém tzv. brzd a rovnovah, což znamená, že státní moc je rozdělena mezi prezidenta, jednokomorový Parlament a nezávislé soudnictví. Ghana is one of the most developed and democratic states in Africa. Ghana is a presidential republic, where the president is both head of state and head of the Cabinet.
