Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na syndrom vyhoření ve sportovní organizaci. Teoretická část obsahuje celkovou charakteristiku tohoto syndromu, jeho historii, diagnostiku a propojení s vrcholovým sportem. Praktická část se zabývá kvalitativním výzkumem v podobě objemného hloubkového rozhovoru s konkrétním vrcholovým sportovcem, který tento stav zažil. Cílem práce bylo hlubší porozumění syndromu vyhoření u profesionálních sportovců, zaměření se na jeho příčiny, následky a zároveň i cesty, jak mu lze předejít či se s ním po jeho vypuknutí vypořádat. Výsledkem práce je analýza celého projevu vyhoření u olympijského vítěze, který zažil dvojí vyhoření, každé s jinou příčinou, průběhem i následkem. Podrobně je zkoumán vliv osobnosti, okolí, tlumících i podporujících faktorů na vyhoření. Přínosem práce jsou konkrétní preventivní opatření, která přispívají k pochopení a řešení problému vyhoření ve sportu. Závěrem, tato práce přináší inovativní pohled na syndrom vyhoření ve sportovní organizaci a nabízí komplexní strategie pro diagnostiku, léčbu a prevenci. Zároveň rozšiřuje stávající poznatky o syndromu vyhoření a propojuje je se specifiky sportovního prostředí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on burnout syndrome in a sports organization. The theoretical part contains the general characteristics of this syndrome, its history, diagnosis, and connection with elite sport. The practical part deals with qualitative research in the form of an in-depth interview with a specific elite athlete who experienced this condition. The aim of the thesis was to gain a deeper understanding of burnout syndrome in professional athletes, focusing on its causes and consequences, as well as ways in which it can be prevented or dealt with once it has broken out. As a result, the thesis analyses the entire expression of burnout in an Olympic champion who experienced double burnout, each with a different cause, process, and consequence. There is big focus on the influence of personality, environment, buffering and supportive factors on burnout. The paper contributes specific preventive measures that contribute to understanding and addressing burnout in sport. In conclusion, this thesis provides an innovative perspective on burnout syndrome in sport organization and offers comprehensive strategies for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. It also extends the existing knowledge on burnout syndrome and links it to the specificities of the sport environment.
