Abstract:
The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse the texts of selected Czech and Austrian (primarily secondary school) history textbooks published between 1852 and 2018. Furthermore, based on their analysis, to create a complex image reconstruction of the Ascent of the House of Habsburg to the Czech throne (and the related selection of Ferdinand of Habsburg as the Czech king) as one of the key topics of …more
