Diplomová práca sa zaoberá témou čítania a rozdielmi medzi čítaním v materinskom a cudzom jazyku. Diplomová práca je členená na teoretickú a výskumnú časť. Teoretická časť obsahuje kapitoly, ktoré sa venujú čitateľským stratégiám, technológií eye-trackingu, pohybom očí pri čítaní a výskumom čítania. Bližšie sa venuje fixáciám, sakádam a regresiám.
