Sekundární metabolity jsou látky, které mohou mít pozitivní vliv na lidské zdraví. Rostlina lopuch větší (Arctium lappa) je odedávna známá svými léčivými účinky, na kterých se mohou podílet právě její sekundární metabolity. Secondary metabolites are compounds with potentially beneficial impact on human health.
