Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce je analýza voleb do Evropského parlamenu v roce 2014 v České republice. Nejprve se práce zaměřuje na vstup České republiky do Evropské unie v roce 2004, poté se zabývá stručnou charakteristikou Evropského parlamentu a činnosti jeho poslanců. Následuje teorie druhořadých voleb, do kterých se volby do Evropského parlamentu řadí. Práce poté přechází k samotným volbám, nejprve se stručně zaměřuje na komparaci předchozích dvou voleb do Evropského parlamentu - v roce 2004 a 2009. Hlavní část práce se věnuje volbám do Evropského parlamentu v roce 2014 v České republice. Charakteristika stran a hnutí kandidující do Evropského parlamentu, volební kampaně nejznámějších stran a předvolební průzkumy. Poté přichází analýza volebních výsledků (volební účast a volební výsledky). Závěr práce je zaměřen na zvolené europoslance, kteří zasedají v Evropském parlamentu.

Abstract:

The thesis concerned an analysis of the elections to the European Parliament in 2014 in the Czech Republic. At first the thesis focuses on the Czech Republic's entry into the European Union in 2004, then there is a brief characterization of the European Parliament and its members. Following the theory of Second-Order elections model, where the election to the European Parliament belongs. After that the thesis goes on to the comparison to the previous elections to the European Parliament in 2004 and 2009. The main part of this thesis deals with the elections to the European Parliament in 2014 in the Czech Republic. Characteristics of the parties and movements, election campaign the most famous parties and before elections surveys. Finally there will be analysis of the election's results (election participation and election results). At the end the thesis is focused on elected Members of Parliament in the Czech Republic who are in the European Parliament.
