Nursing care plan for the patient after lung surgery

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vytvoření obecného plánu ošetřovatelské péče pro pacienty po operaci plic přesněji po plícní resekci na jednotce intenzivní péče. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. V úvodu teoretické části je popsána anatomie plic, dále jsou zde uvedeny jednotlivé operační výkony, které se na plících provádějí a také onemocnění, která k nim vedou. Další z kapitol je věnována jednotlivým pooperačním komplikacím a také vybraným vyšetřovacím metodám používaných před operací plic. Závěrečná kapitola teoretické části je věnována jednotlivým typům hrudních drenáží. V praktické části je navržen obecný plán ošetřovatelské péče pro pacienty po plícní resekci zaměřený na dobu hospitalizace na jednotce intenzivní péče a na další pooperační období. Zde je popsána komplexní péče o pacienty v pooperačním období, zahrnující také péči o hrudní drenáž a možnosti dechové rehabilitace. Dále jsou pro toto období u jednotlivých diagnostických domén dle NANDA International Taxonomie II uvedeny vhodné ošetřovatelské diagnózy a u každé z nich jsou stanoveny cíle a navrženy vhodné ošetřovatelské intervence.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on developing general plan of nursing care for patients after lung surgery, more precisely after lung resection at Intensive Care Unit. The thesis is divided into 2 parts, theory and practical. At the start of the theory part there is a description of lung anatomy, and then there are listed individual surgical procedures that are performed on lungs and also diseases that lead to such procedures. Next chapter is devoted to individual post-operative complications and also chosen examination methods used before lung surgery. Closing chapter of the theory part is devoted to individual types of thoracic drainage. In the practical part there is a suggestion of a general plan of nursing care for patients after lung resection focused on hospitalisation time at the Intensive Care Unit and on further post-operation period. There is a description of complex care for patients during the post-operation period, also including thoracic drainage care and the options of respiratory rehabilitation. Then for this period for individual diagnostic domains according to NANDA International Taxonomy II there are listed suitable treatment diagnoses, determined goals and suitable treatment intervension for each of those.
