Hagiotherapy for Women in Crisis Situations (Specialized in the Treatment of Alcohol Addicts at the Bohnice Psychiatric hospital in Prague)

Abstract:

Diplomová práce "Hagioterapie pro ženy v krizových situacích (se zaměřením na léčbu alkoholové závislosti v Psychiatrické léčebně Bohnice)" pojednává o specifické formě biblioterapie zvané hagioterapie. Práce rozebírá její principy, východiska a metody a popisuje její praktické využití při léčbě závislostí v Psychiatrické léčebně Bohnice. Biblioterapie patří k doprovodným psychoterapeutickým metodám, která využívá léčivého působení literárního díla na psychiku recipienta. Specifičnost hagioterapeutické metody spočívá ve výhradním využívání biblických textů a jejich podobenství. Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl přiblížení této biblioterapeutické metody a zároveň se snaží nalézt možnosti jejího dalšího využití mimo prostory psychiatrického zařízení.

Abstract:

The thesis "Hagiotherapy for women in crisis situations (specialized in the treatment of alcohol addicts at the Bohnice Psychiatric hospital in Prague)" deals with a specific form of bibliotherapy called Hagiotherapy. The thesis analyses its principles, bases and methods used and describes its practical utilisation in the treatment of addictions at the Bohnice Psychiatric hospital in Prague. The bibliotherapy is one of the accompanying psychotherapeutical methods that makes use of curative effects of a literary work on the patients psyche. The particularity of the Hagiotherapy based method consists in an exclusive utilisation of biblical texts and its parables. The thesis aims to present in a closer way this bibliotherapeutic method as well as to find out the possibilities of its further utilisation out of the psychiatric establishments.
