Care of a Physiological Newborn from the First Inhale to the End of the Neonatal Period

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce má teoreticko-empirický charakter a zabývá se péčí o fyziologického novorozence od prvního nádechu do konce novorozeneckého období. V teoretické části je popsáno novorozenecké období, jednotlivá opatření a vyšetření novorozence, která jsou potřebná v prvních dnech jeho života při pobytu v nemocnici. Péče o fyziologického novorozence je popsána také v kontextu domácího prostředí společně s radami pro matky v rámci manipulace s jejich novorozencem, hygienickou péčí a výživou. Praktická část zahrnuje kvantitativní výzkum realizovaný prostřednictvím metody dotazníkového šetření. Hlavním cílem praktické části je zjistit informovanost žen ohledně péče o jejich fyziologického novorozence v průběhu hospitalizace na rooming-in.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is of theoretical-empirical character and focuses on the care of a physiological newborn from the first inhale to the end of the neonatal period. The neonatal period, individual measures and examinations of the newborn, which are needed in the first days of his life in hospital are described in the theoretical part. The care of a physiological newborn is also described in the context of the home environment, together with advice for mothers as part of the handling of their newborn, hygienic care and nutrition. The practical part includes quantitative research carried out by means of a questionnaire survey method. The main goal of the empirical part is to find out the awareness of women about the care of their physiological newborn during hospitalization in the rooming-in.
