Psyche of a woman in the postpartum period

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu psychiky ženy v období šestinedělí. V teoretické části jsou popsány jednotlivé oblasti života ženy po porodu, možné poporodní psychické stavy a komplikace, péče porodní asistentky v období šestinedělí a možnosti diagnostiky poporodních psychických odchylek či poruch. Praktická část je tvořena metodou smíšeného designu, který kombinuje kvantitativní a kvalitativní průzkum. Pro průzkum byly zvoleny dotazníky vlastní tvorby a na ně navazující polostrukturované rozhovory vlastní tvorby, které měly za cíl především zjistit důležité oblasti života respondentek související s jejich psychikou v období šestinedělí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of women's psyche during the postpartum period. The theoretical part describes various aspects of a woman's life after childbirth, potential postpartum psychic states and complications, the care provided by a midwife during the postpartum and possibilities for diagnosing postpartum psychic deviations or disorders. The practical part is formed by mixed-method design, combining quantitative and qualitative research methods. Self-created questionnaires and self-created semi-structured interviews were chosen for the research, aiming primarily to identify important areas of respondents' lives related to their psyche during the postpartum period.
