Cílem diplomové práce je analýza českého slovesa "mít" a jeho ekvivalentů v ruštině, a to především s ohledem na valenci tohoto slovesa i jeho ruských protějšků. This thesis aims to analyse the Czech verb „to have“ (mít) and its equivalents in Russian. It looks into the valency of this verb and its Russian equivalents. The theoretical part deals with general use of the Czech verb "mít", with the term valency and basic types of sentence structures and also with Russian means of expressing the verb "mít".
