Abstract:
Bakalářská práce Demokracie v Americe (od Tocquevilla k Zakariovi) se pokouší analyzovat hlavní myšlenky Alexise de Tocquevilla a Fareeda Zakarii o demokracii. Uvádí vlastnosti demokratických společností (rovnost, tyranie většiny, populismus, lobby, ústavní liberalismus, etc.), především Spojených států, jak je vidí oba autoři.
Abstract:
The bachelor´s thesis Democracy in America (from Tocqueville to Zakaria) tries to analyze the main thoughts of democracy by Alexis de Tocqueville and Fareed Zakaria. The bachelor´s thesis mentions the attributes of democratic societies (equality, tyranny of the majority, populism, lobby, constitutional liberalismus, etc.), especially the society of the United States, in the view of both authors.
