Abstract:
This bachelor dissertation focuses on the work of the radiology assistant during interstitial brachytherapy. This work is divided into theory and practical parts. The theory part is focused on history, general principles, basics of radiobiology for brachytherapy, dosimetry systems, optimisation, and utilising interstitial brachytherapy.
