Preventive lesson about vandalism in primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem „Preventivní lekce o vandalismu na základní škole“ má teoreticko-empirický charakter. Zaměřuje se na informovanost, porozumění a pochopení tématu vandalismu mezi žáky 5. až 8. třídy, potřebu preventivního zásahu a následně jeho efektivitu. V kapitolách teoretické části je zaznamenáno vývojové období dítěte středního školního věku spolu s nejčastějšími sociálními skupinami a úskalími, které s sebou tyto vztahy přináší. Práce je taktéž zaměřena na cílové skupiny etopedie a možnosti předcházení rizikových projevů chování převážně ve školním prostředí. Dále je zde nabídnut pohled na vandalismus spolu s opatřeními, jež mohou být za podobná jednání uložena dítěti, které ještě není trestně odpovědné. Empirická část je založena na kvantitativním šetření, jež se skládalo ze tří fází. V první a poslední byly využity dotazníky. Prostřední fáze byla experimentem v podobě samotné preventivní lekce. Byla odhalena nutnost lekce především u mladších žáků, kteří se díky ní začali v otázce vandalismu orientovat.

Abstract:

The thesis called „Preventive lesson about vandalism in primary school” has a theoretical-empiric character. It focuses on awareness and understanding of vandalism among pupils from 5th to 8th class, the necessity of preventive intervention and its efficiency. In chapters of the theoretical part, the period of development of the primary school pupils is recorded, with the most frequent social groups and problems they can bring. The thesis is also focused on target groups of education of pupils with emotional and behavioral disorders and the possibilities of prevention of the risk factors of behavior especially at school. It shows the vandalism and the actions imposed to the children without criminal liability. The empiric part is based on quantitative research divided into three phases. In the first and the last phase the questionnaires were used. The middle part was an experiment – a preventive lesson. The research proved the need of preventive lessons especially among younger pupils, who then got better knowledge of the issue of vandalism.
