Population development of Prague with the focus on the city part Prague 18-Letňany

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá populačním vývojem v hlavním městě Praze se zaměřením na městskou část Prahu 18Letňany. Cílem mé práce je seznámit čtenáře se základními pojmy populačního vývoje, stručně popsat hlavní město Prahu, její teritoriální a geografickou polohu, členění a dopravní infrastrukturu, charakterizovat a analyzovat složky demografické reprodukce. V první části bakalářské práce jsou popsány jednotlivé struktury obyvatelstva podle pohlaví a věku s metodikou použitých výpočtů pro další analýzu. Dále se zaměřuji na ukazatele reprodukce a jejich procesy, přirozený přírůstek a aspekty migrace. Druhá část předkládaného textu je věnovaná rozloze, geomorfologickému členění a rozdělení Prahy na jednotlivé správní obvody a městské části. Souhrnně popisuji současný stav silniční, železniční a městské hromadné dopravy a její budoucí plánovaný vývoj. Detailně analyzuji procesy demografické reprodukce a migrace s použitím publikací a statistik veřejné databáze ČSÚ, které demonstruji na grafech vlastního zpracování. Na závěr se již konkrétně zaměřuji na městskou část Letňany, kde analyzuji a porovnávám některé výše zmiňované ukazatele s hlavním městem, Českou republikou a vybranými městskými částmi, které prezentuji ověřenými údaji a fakty.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with population development in capital city Prague focusing on city part Prague 18Letňany. The goal of my thesis is to introduce the readers with basic terms of population development, briefly describe capital city Prague, its territorial and geographic location, urban breakdown and transport infrastructure, characterize and analyze parts of demographic reproduction. In first part of bachelor thesis are individually described structures of inhabitants pursuant the sex and age using the method of calculations for another analysis. Further I focus on indicators of reproduction and its processes, such as population growth and aspect of migration. Second part of my thesis is dedicated to area, geomorphological division and division of Prague into each administrative districts and parts. In sum there is described actual condition of roads, railways and urban transportation and its future planned development. I detailed analyze processes of demographic reproduction and migration using publications and statistics from public database Czech Statistical Office which is all demonstrated on graphs my own processing. At the ending I am particularly focused on city part Letňany where are analyzed and compared some of above mentioned indicators with capital city, Czech Republic and chosen city part which is presented with certified details and facts.
