Social Relations of the Elderly in Facilities for the Elderly

Abstract:

Diplomová práce nás provází poslední vývojovou etapou, která život uzavírá a završuje, tedy stářím. Je neodmyslitelnou součástí života každého jedince. Pokládáme tedy za potřebné, problematiku života ve stáří i sociálních vztahů ve stáří, do povědomí zařazovat. Teoretická část diplomové práce představuje seniora jako osobu, u které v rámci přirozeného biologicko-psychologicko-sociálního procesu probíhá spoustu změn. Přijmout tento fakt je jedním z úspěšné adaptace na stárnutí. Stejně důležitá je i příprava na stáří, která tento přechod z produktivního věku do důchodového velmi zjednodušuje. V neposlední řadě nám teoretická část představuje komunikaci se seniory, nastiňuje problematiku stárnutí populace a s ní spojenou možnou reformu dlouhodobé péče a legislativní ukotvení. Třetí a zároveň poslední kapitola teoretické části věnuje pozornost volnočasovým aktivitám a aktivizačním činnost, při kterých jsou mobilizovány psychické i fyzické stránky osobnosti. Praktická část diplomové práce je tvořena výzkumem v pobytových zařízeních sociálních služeb. Výzkum si bral za podstatné hlouběji zjistit, jakou formou probíhají vzájemné interakce mezi klienty pobytových zařízení, jak časté tyto interakce jsou a jakou podobu na sebe tyto interakce berou.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis accompanies us through the last stage of development, which closes and completes life, i.e. old age. It is an integral part of every individual's life. We therefore consider it necessary to include the issues of life in old age and social relationships in old age in the awareness. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis presents the elderly as a person who undergoes a lot of changes as part of a natural biological-psychological-social process. Accepting this fact is one of the successful adaptations to aging. Equally important is preparation for old age, which greatly simplifies this transition from working age to retirement. Last but not least, the theoretical part introduces us to communication with the elderly, outlines the issue of population aging and the associated possible long-term care reform and legislative anchoring. The third and at the same time the last chapter of the theoretical part pays attention to leisure activities and activation activities, during which the psychological and physical aspects of the personality are mobilized. The practical part of the diploma thesis is made up of research in residential facilities of social services. The research considered it essential to find out more deeply what form mutual interactions take place between clients of residential facilities, how frequent these interactions are and what form these interactions take.
