Creating a model of experiential course to develop information literacy

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vytvořením návrhu modelu kurzu zážitkové pedagogiky k rozvoji informační gramotnosti. Specifikuje jak terminologii a teoretické základy nezbytné k sestavení kurzu jako informační gramotnost, specifikaci zážitkové pedagogiky v systému vzdělávání, specifikaci dospívajících jako cílové skupiny i popsání metody na člověka zaměřeného designu, kterou je model kurzu projektován, tak konkrétní příklady dobré praxe využitelné při tvorbě kurzu a jeho následné designování. Vytvořený model kurzu byl konkrétně sestaven za pomocí metody kvalitativních rozhovorů se členy cílové skupiny, využití person na jejich cestě službou, testováním vzniklého návrhu storyboardem, úpravy modelu kurzu k jeho finální podobě a provedení průzkumu zájmu o výsledný kurz. Program se sestává ze čtyřdenního kurzu naplněného zážitky i mnoha dalšími aktivitami neformálního vzdělávání tematicky směřující k informační gramotnosti se symbolickým rámcem válečného zpravodajství.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with creating a draft model of experiential learning course for the development of information literacy. It determines the theoretical foundations necessary to build course such as course for information literacy, the thesis also contains specification of experiential learning in the education system, the specification of adolescents as a target group as well as it describes the method on human-centered design, by which is the model course designed. In addition, in the thesis there are given particular examples of good practices utilized in the development of the course and its subsequent designing. The model of the course was particulary compiled with the help of qualitative interviews with members of the target group, as well as it uses persons on their service-way. The final draft is tested by storyboard, consequently it is edited to its final form. Eventually, research is carried out in order to explore the demand on this particular experiental learning course. The program consists of a four-day course filled with experiences and with numerous kinds of practices of informal education thematically focused on information literacy within the symbolic framework of war reporting.
