Geodemographics of specific old industrial region Karvinsko.

Abstract:

Téma mojí bakalářské práce zní Geodemografická charakteristika SOB 4 Karvinsko, jejím cílem je popsat a zhodnotit geodemografický vývoj v obcích SOB 4 Karvinsko a také za celý region v porovnání s vybranými analogickými územními jednotkami za období mezi roky 1990-2018. Bakalářská práce navazuje na výzkum v rámci projektu "Pohornická krajina - Karvinsko", který zpracovávala Přírodovědecká fakulta Ostravské univerzity. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. V teoretické části nastíním koncept smršťování měst a regionů, představím jednotlivé demografické ukazatele, s nimiž budu pracovat v empirické práci a popíšu historický vývoj regionu v souvislosti s rozvojem černouhelného hornictví. V empirické části provedu analýzu jednotlivých demografických ukazatelů formou kvantitativní metody výzkumu, textová část bude podpořena grafy, tabulkami či mapovými výstupy, pomocí kterých budu prezentovat data Českého statistického úřadu, převážně se jedná o údaje ze sčítání lidu, domů a bytů v letech 1991, 2001 a 2011 nebo o volně dostupná data z internetových stránek Českého statistického úřadu.

Abstract:

Topic of my bachelor thesis is Geodemographics of specific old industrial region Karvinsko. The goal of my thesis is to describe and explain development of geodemographics of municipalities in specific industrial region Karvinsko and compare it with different territorial units in Czechia. The thesis consists of theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part contains of an explanation of a concept of urban shrinkage and an explanation of selected demographic indicators. The empirical part is focused on an analysis of the demographic indicators mentioned in the theoretical part. The analysis in the empirical part will be based on statistical data from the Czech Statistical Office, mainly on data from census taken in 1991, 2001 and 2011 and on freely available statistical databases on the website of the Czech Statistical Office. The analysis in the empirical part of my thesis continues in a research project that was done at University of Ostrava at the Faculty of Science.
