Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem domácí péče jako prevencí před institucionalizací seniorů. Cílem práce je poukázat na místo domácí péče o seniory v systému sociálních služeb v České republice a zdůraznit její roli při předcházení institucionalizace seniorů v pobytových sociálních službách typu domova pro seniory. V souvislosti s péčí o seniora v přirozeném domácím prostředí se zaměříme na neformální pečující a upozorníme na jejich úlohu v rámci péče. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou, která obsahuje tři na sebe navazující kapitoly a následně na část výzkumnou, která se skládá ze dvou kapitol. Teoretická část práce vymezuje základní pojmosloví vážící se k tématu, následuje vymezení sociálních služeb pro seniory a historickým exkurzem pro pochopení transformace sociálních služeb. Následně se dostáváme k péči o seniora v přirozeném sociálním prostředí, kde se zaměřujeme na možnosti péče a neformální pečující. Výzkumná část si klade za cíl zjistit přínosy a úskalí domácí péče o seniora očima neformálních pečujících. Cíl je naplňován prostřednictvím kvalitativní výzkumné strategie, získaná data jsou zpracována, analyzována a následně interpretována.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the topic of home care as a prevention of institutionalization of elderly people. The aim of the work is to highlight the position of elderly home care in the social services system in the Czech Republic and to emphasize its role in prevention of institutionalization of elderly people in residential social services like home for the elderly. In connection with the elderly care in the natural home environment we will focus on informal caregivers and we will point out their role in the care. The thesis is divided into the theoretical part, which includes three subsequent chapters, and subsequently into the research part, which consists of two chapters. The theoretical part defines basic terminology pertaining to the topic and then it continues by the definition of social services for elderly people and by historical excursion for understanding the transformation of social services. Subsequently we come to the elderly care in the natural social environment where we focus on the possibilities of the care and informal caregivers. The aim of the research part is to determine the benefits and difficulties of home care for the elderly from the point of view of informal caregivers. This objective is accomplished by the use of qualitative research strategy; the obtained data are processed, analyzed and subsequently interpreted.
