Sanction in youth custody center

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na sankce ve výchovných ústavech pro mládež. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda pracovníci výchovných ústavů užívají sankce jako účinný stimul k přijetí řádu klientem a zejména potom v čem. V čem jsou specificky odměny a tresty užívány jako účinný stimul k přijetí řádu klientem, a dále zda jsou sankce adekvátní. Sankce ve výchovných ústavech jsou klíčovým tématem, neboť mají vliv na efektivitu samotné funkce ústavu. V empirické části je popsána kvalitativní výzkumná strategie, zvolenou metodou zkoumání je polostrukturovaný rozhovor, přičemž si tazatel odpovědi zapisuje do záznamového archu. Rozhovory byly realizovány ve výchovném ústavu pro mládež. V závěrečné části je po analýze získaných údajů z rozhovorů zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka a dále jsou zde navrženy doporučení pro další výzkum a praxi.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on sanctions in youth custody centers. The goal is to find whether the staff of the youth custody centers use these penalties as an effective stimulus to the adoption of the regulations by the clients and, especially, in what way. Also, the thesis seeks to describe in what way do the rewards and punishments serve as an effective stimulus to the adoption of the regulations by the clients and whether the sanctions are adequate. Penalties in youth custody centers are a key issue, because they affect the efficiency of the actual functions of the institution. In the empirical section, the thesis describes qualitative research strategy - the chosen method of research is a semistructured interview, the interviewer writes the answers into the recording sheet. Interviews were realized in a youth custody center. The final part contains the analysis of data obtained from interviews, which leads to the answering of the main research question. In addition, recommendations are proposed for further research and practice.
