The analysis of recruitment on the internet in choosen sector of companies in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předložená studie je zaměřena na recruitment na internetu firem, které jsou členy Sdružení dopravních podniků ČR. Hlavním výzkumným cílem je zjistit, jak vybrané společnosti využívají internet k získávání zaměstnanců. První část je věnovaná teoretickému vstupu do problematiky, který je dále potřebným podkladem pro empirickou část. Nejdříve je rozebrán pojem marketing na internetu, a to hlavně se zaměřením na marketingovou komunikaci. Práce se dále zabývá značkou zaměstnavatele a recruitmentem, především v online prostředí. K dosažení cíle je použita heuristická analýza, provedená dvěma experty. Závěry studie jsou užitečné pro zlepšení komunikace společností a jejich procesu získávání zaměstnanců na internetu, čímž se zvýší atraktivita firmy pro potencionální uchazeče o zaměstnání.

Abstract:

Following study is focused on online recruitment of the companies, which are members of Czech group of transport companies (Sdružení dopravních podniků ČR). The main research aim is to determine how the selected companies use the internet for recruitment activities. The first part of this study is explaining the theoretical background of this topic. The theoretical part is then used as the base for the empirical part. Firstly, there is defined online marketing, especially regarding to the online marketing communication. Further there is discussed the issue of employer branding and its connection to recruitment especially in online environment. To fulfil the aim of the study is used heuristic analysis, which has been done by two experts in this field. Conclusions of the study might be useful in improving the communication strategies of the selected companies and, also improving the processes of hiring new employee on the internet. This might cause increase of the attractivity of the selected companies as employers for the job seekers.
