Municipal Police, its Feature and Rank in the System of Public Administration in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem práce je poskytnout ucelenou komparaci obecní policie, jejích úkolů a postavení s úkoly a postavením Policie ČR. Na začátku se práce zabývá základními údaji o obecní policii, jejím postavením a začleněním do systému veřejné správy. Dále je stručně popsána historie obecní policie. Další část práce se zabývá právní úpravou obecní policie, její působností a pravomocemi. Součástí je také kapitola zaměřující se na veřejný pořádek, na jehož dodržování dohlíží obecní policie. Práce popisuje činnost policie městyse Jedovnice a poskytuje komparaci se zahraniční právní úpravou.

Abstract:

The objective of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive comparison of the municipal police, its tasks and position with the tasks and status of the Police of the Czech Republic. In the beginning, the thesis deals with basic data on the municipal police, its position and integration into the public administration system. The following briefly describes the history of the municipal police. Another part of the thesis deals with the legal regulation of the municipal police, its powers and powers. It also includes a chapter on public order, the observance of which is monitored by the municipal police. The thesis describes the police activity of Jedovnice and provides a comparison with foreign legislation.
