Cholesterol from the perspective of nutrition
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá cholesterolem, jeho významem pro lidský organismus, vlivem cholesterolu na vznik aterosklerózy a možnostmi ovlivnění hladiny cholesterolu v krvi. První část práce je věnována stručnému přehledu o výživě člověka.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with cholesterol, its impact on the human body, cholesterol as a possible risk factor for atherosclerosis, and possible ways to influence the blood cholesterol level. The first part of the thesis includes a short overview of human nutrition.
