Client Protection in Internet Payments in Connection with Cybercrime

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá hypotézou, zda-li je “Právní ochrana klienta u internetových plateb českým právem poskytnuta na takové úrovní, aby byl klient ochráněn před škodlivými následky kybernetické kriminality“. V práci jsou uvedeny nejpoužívanější platební metody, mezi které řadíme platební karty, internetové bankovnictví a elektronické peněženky. Mezi hlavní prvky ochrany jsou k těmto zvoleným platebním metodám rozebrány právní aspekty představující nepostradatelnou součást zabezpečení internetových plateb. Ve zvláštní části této práce jsou uvedeny jednotlivé útoky z kyberprostoru a bezpečnostní doporučení při platbách na internetu vydané orgány a subjekty působícími v oblasti finančního systému a úseku elektronických komunikací.

Abstract:

The work deals with the hypothesis whether it is „Legal to protect clients from Internet payments Czech law provided on such level, to client was safeguarded before the harmful effects of cybernetic criminality“. There are mentioned the most widely used payment methods, among which we classify credit cards, internet banking and e-wallets (electronical wallet). Among major elements of protection are elected to these elect payment methods, further discussed legal aspects which representing indispensable part of safeguard Internet payments. In a special part of this work are mentioned individual attacks from cyberspace and safety recommendation at payments in the Internet published by authorities and subjects applied in the aref of fiscal system and section electronic communication.
