The Security Issue in Party Manifestos in Regional Elections in South Moravia 2016

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem bezpečnosti ve volebních programech v regionálních volbách v Jihomoravském kraji (JMK). Cílem bylo zjistit, jaký prostor politické strany věnují ve svých volebních programech bezpečnosti, jakým způsobem bezpečnost tematizují a jak jsou zastoupeny jednotlivé bezpečnostní kategorie. Metodou kvantitativní a kvalitativní obsahové analýzy byly zkoumány volební programy z roku 2016 těch politických uskupení, které v krajských volbách získaly alespoň jeden mandát. Bylo zjištěno, že nejvíce prostoru tématu bezpečnosti na krajské úrovni věnovala ODS. Dále bylo induktivně vytvořeno sedm kategorií tematické oblasti bezpečnost, jejichž obsah byl interpretován a hodnocen. Z tematických oblastí se nejčastěji vyskytla kategorie Mimořádné události.

Abstract:

The Bachelor Thesis deals with a topic of security within election programmes during the South Moravian regional elections. The aim is to find out how much space do the political parties dedicate to the topic of security within their election programmes, how do they deal with the security and how are the individual security categories represented. The 2016 election programmes of such political groups, that were granted at least one mandate during the regional election, were researched using both quantitative and qualitative content analysis. Concerning the regional level, it has been found out that ODS dedicated the most space to the topic of security. Furthermore, seven categories of thematic area of security were inductively created, the content of which has been interpreted and assessed. The Emergency category was the most common one of the thematic areas.
