Financing of selected public goods in a particular municipality

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na financování veřejných statků v Kynšperku nad Ohří. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny obecné informace a pojmy o veřejném sektoru, veřejných statcích, jejich financování a způsobu jejich zabezpečování prostřednictvím neziskových organizací, zřizovaných obcí. Praktická část práce charakterizuje již konkrétní veřejné statky v Kynšperku nad Ohří, rozpočtový výhled, analyzuje příjmy a výdaje rozpočtu města, hodnotí výsledky v získávání finančních prostředků z dotačních titulů. Analyzuje financování sportovních aktivit v Kynšperku nad Ohří, charakterizuje problémy ve financování sportu a ve využívání vybudovaných sportovních zařízeních. Součástí práce je i vyhodnocení provedeného dotazníkového šetření mezi občany města. Závěrem jsou zhodnoceny získané poznatky, popsány návrhy a opatření.

Abstract:

This work is focused on the financing of public domains in Kynšperk nad Ohří. General information and concepts of the public sector, public domains, their financing and methods of their providing via non-profit-making organizations established by the municipality are introduced in the theoretical part of the work. Specific public domains and budgetary perspective of Kynšperk nad Ohří are characterized in the practical part of the work, which also analyses the receipts and expenditures ot the town?s budget, assesses the results in the acquisition of financial resources from grants and endowments. This part of the work analyses the funding of the sports activities in Kynšperk nad Ohří and characterizes problems in the financing of sports and utilisation of constructed sports facilities, as well. An evaluation of a questionnaire survey performed among the citizens of Kynšperk nad Ohří is also a part of this work. In conclusion, the retrieved findings are assessed and recommendations and measures are suggested
