House and apartment construction and its functional differentiation in a tourist attractive area: Case study of the village of Kvilda

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá domovní a bytovou výstavbou a její funkční diferenciací v turisticky atraktivní oblasti Kvilda. Cílem je analyzovat dynamiku domovní a bytové výstavby v posledním desetiletí a její diferenciace z hlediska turistické a rezidenční funkce a znázornit data skrz mapové výstupy. V rámci literární rešerše jsou vymezeny pojmy týkající se regionálního rozvoje, intenzity bytové a domovní výstavby a vybrané pojmy cestovního ruchu. Na základě analýzy dat z leteckých snímků, územního plánu obce a údajů z ČSÚ jsou ve výsledcích práce popsány prostorové změny zástavby a ty jsou následně zhodnoceny ve vztahu k jejich převažující funkci. Výsledky jsou také zpracovány v mapových vizualizacích. Závěrem jsou výsledky porovnány s pracemi jiných autorů a jsou uvedeny možnosti rozšíření práce.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with residential and housing construction and its functional differentiation in the touristically attractive area of Kvilda. The aim is to analyze the dynamics of residential and housing construction over the past decade and its differentiation in terms of tourist and residential functions and to illustrate the data through map outputs. Within the literature review, terms related to regional development, intensity of housing construction, and selected concepts of tourism are defined. Based on the analysis of data from aerial photographs, the municipality's land use plan, and data from the Czech Statistical Office, spatial changes in construction are described in the results of the work and subsequently evaluated in relation to their predominant function. The results are also processed in map visualizations. Finally, the results are compared with the works of other authors, and possibilities for expanding the work are provided.
