Establishment of a beekeeping company and development of its competitiveness

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to create a comprehensive business project for the establishment of a beekeeping company and analysis of the development of its competitiveness. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part defines the terms and analyzes the literature research for the development of a business plan with a focus on its structure. In the practical part, the theo-retical knowledge is then applied in practice and a business plan is created for a beekeeping company in Slovakia Včelkovo. Specifically, the methods of environmental analysis are used - PESTLE analysis, Porter's model of five forces, whose outputs are used in SWOT analysis. The conclusion of the practical part is a business, marketing and financial plan, supplemented by an analysis of risks that may cause a deviation from the original business plan. At the same time, there are listed opportunities the possibilities of differenti-ating the company from the competitors and increase its competitiveness. In the end, the research questions are answered, the evaluated limits are stated and the benefits of this paperwork are subsequently mentioned.

Abstract:

Cieľom tejto diplomovej práce je vytvorenie komplexného podnikateľského projektu pre založenie včelárskeho podniku a analýza rozvoja jeho konku-rencieschopnosti. Práca je rozdelená do dvoch častí. V teoretickej časti sú vymedzené pojmy a analyzovaná literárna rešerš pre spracovanie podnikateľ-ského plánu so zameraním na jeho štruktúru. V praktickej časti sú následne teoretické poznatky aplikované v praxi a je vytvorený podnikateľský plán pre včelársky podnik na Slovensku Včelkovo. Konkrétne sú využité metódy analýzy prostredia – PESTLE analýza a Porterov model piatich síl, ktorých výstupy sú následne využité vo SWOT analýze. Záver praktickej časti pred-stavujú obchodný, marketingový a finančný plán, doplnené o analýzu rizík, ktoré môžu spôsobiť odchýlenie sa od pôvodného podnikateľského plánu. Zároveň sú tu uvedené možnosti odlíšenia sa a zvýšenia konkurencieschop-nosti. V závere sú následne zodpovedané výskumné otázky, zhodnotené limity a uvedené prínosy, ktoré má táto práca.
