CCD photometry of selected open cluster II.

Abstract:

V předložené bakalářské práci bude na základě výsledků CCD fotometrie studována hvězdokupa M67. V části teoretické nejprve stručně probereme dostupné znalosti o hvězdokupách, zejména pak o hvězdokupách otevřených. Dále se seznámíme se základy hězdné fotometrie, následované HR diagramem. Probereme dostupné informace o hvězdokupě M67 a porovnáme je s nově zjištěnými poznatky. V části praktické se budeme zabývat zpracovanými daty získanými pozorováním této hvězdokupy. Na základě těchto dat budeme schopni určit stáří, vzdálenost a chemické složení. Nakonec bude provedeno srovnání mých výsledků s nejnovějšími hodnotami publikovanými v odborných článcích.

Abstract:

In this submitted bachelor project we will study open cluster M67 using the results of CCD photometry. In theory section, at first we will get some information about star clusters and focus on open clusters. Next we will try to understand the basics of star photometry followed by HR diagram. Also we will get some information about star cluster M67 and compare them with newly discovered evidence. In practice section, we will process Science findings we observed. Using those results we will be able to set age, distance and chemical structure. At the end we will compare my results with findings that have been published in scientific papers.
