Abstract:

Práce se zabývá příčinami vypuknutí "Arabského jara" v Libyi a Sýrii a jejich komparativní analýzou. Obsah práce je rozdělen do třech oddílů. První dva oddíly se postupně věnují případové studii Libye a Sýrie. Čtenář je nejprve stručně seznámen s historickým vývojem obou zemí od poč. 20. stol. do převratu roku 1969 v Libyi a do nástupu Háfize al-Asada k moci o rok později v Sýrii. Poté je podrobně informován o politické a socioekonomické struktuře Libye za vlády Muammara al-Qadhdháfího a Sýrie za vlády rodu Asadů. Stěžejní část práce se věnuje identifikaci jednotlivých příčin zdejšího vypuknutí Arabského jara. Hlavní myšlenka se přitom odvíjí od teze, podle které byla nespokojenost libyjského a syrského lidu, vyvolaná dlouhodobě nevyhovujícími vnitropolitickými, ekonomickými a sociálními podmínkami, využita po převratu v Tunisku a Egyptě na počátku roku 2011 vnějšími silami k posunutí místních protestů do mnohem závažnější roviny za cílem dosažení mocenských zájmů. V třetím oddílu je čtenář konfrontován se závěry práce, v nichž jsou metodou komparativní analýzy oba předchozí oddíly zpracovány. Zároveň jsou zde odhaleny a valorizovány shody a odlišnosti v povaze příčin obou konfliktů.

Abstract:

The work deals with the causes of the outbreak of the "Arab Spring" in Libya and Syria and their comparative analysis. The work is divided into three sections. The first two sections deal with the case study of Libya and Syria. The reader is briefly acquainted with the historical development of the two countries since the early 20th century until 1969 with the uprising of the coup in Libya until the onset of Hafez al-Assad a year later in Syria. Then, he is acquainted in detail in the political and socio-economic structure of Libya during the reign of Muammar al-Gaddafi and in Syria during Assad's reign. Based on this information, the reader can better understand the fundamental part of the work dedicated to the identification of the various causes of the outbreak of the Arab Spring in the surveyed countries. The main idea of work is based on the argument that the dissatisfaction of the Libyan and Syrian people caused long-term unsatisfactory internal politics, economic and social conditions. This was used after the revolution in Tunisia and Egypt in early 2011 by outside forces to move the local protests onto a more serious plane in order to achieve power interests. In the third section, the reader is confronted with the findings of the work, in which the method of comparative analysis from the previous sections is processed. At the same time, there are discovered and indexed differences in the nature of both causes of the outbreak of the conflict.
