Abstract:

Cílem výzkumného šetření bylo hodnocení bolesti v intenzivní péči u pacientů na UPV bez možnosti verbálního projevu před a po provedení intervence. K hodnocení bolesti byly použity škály NVPS (Adult Nonverbal Pain Scale) a FLACC (Face, Legs, Activity, Cry, Consolability). - výzkumným šetřením bylo zjištěno, že škály NVPS a FLACC jsou kvalitními nástroji pro hodnocení bolesti u kriticky nemocných pacientů na UPV bez možnosti verbalizace bolesti v intenzivní péči - hodnoty, měřené škálou FLACC, v průběhu bolestivé intervence a těsně po intervenci dosahovaly nižšího skóre než u škály NVPS ve stejném okamžiku - oba hodnotící nástroje, škála FLACC a NVPS mezi sebou značně korelovaly - v závislosti na typu analgezie (kontinuální i. v., kontinuální i. v. + bolus) a na druhu intervence nebyly zjištěny statisticky významné rozdíly v hodnotách NVPS ani v hodnotách FLACC po celou dobu sledování

Abstract:

The aim of this research was to evaluate pain in intensive care patients on mechanical ventilation without the possibility of verbal expression before and after the intervention. NVPS (nonverbal Adult Pain Scale) and FLACC (Face, Legs, Activity, Cry, Consolability) scales were used for the pain assessment. - the research survey found out that the scales NVPS and FLACC are superior tools for pain assessment in critically ill patients on mechanical ventilation without the possibility of pain verbalization in intensive care. - the values measured by FLACC score during painful intervention and immediately after intervention reached a lower score than by the range NVPS at the same time. - both evaluation tools FLACC and NVPS significantly correlated with each other - depending on the type of analgesia (continuous i. v., continuous i.v. + bolus) and the type of intervention there were no significant differences neither in NVPS nor in FLACC values throughout the observation period
