Nursing Work during Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá prací sestry během pandemie Covid-19. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část práce je složena ze tří kapitol. První kapitola vymezuje pojmy týkající se onemocnění Covid-19 a pandemie, druhá kapitola se zabývá profesí sester, jejich kompetencemi, osobností a etickým kodexem. Ve třetí kapitole teoretické části je popsána práce sestry během pandemie. Praktická část práce je zpracována kvantitativní metodou výzkumu technikou dotazníku. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo popsat vliv pandemie Covid-19 na práci všeobecných sester, především na jejich psychickou a fyzickou zátěž a také dopad na jejich život. Výsledky šetření jsou zpracovány do grafů a doplněny komentářem. Z výsledků vyplývá, že vlivem pandemie došlo ke změnám v práci sester, které se promítly i do jejich osobního života. Fyzické zdraví se sestrám pandemii výrazně nezhoršilo, většina sester však pociťuje negativní psychické změny.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the nursing work during Covid-19 pandemic. This work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consist of three chapters. The first chapter defines terms related to Covid-19 disease and the pandemic, the second chapter deals with the profession of nurses, their competencies, personalities and code of ethics. The third of the theoretical part describes nursing work during the pandemic. The practical part of the work is processed by a quantitative research method using questionnaire technique. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to describe the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the work of general nurses, especially on their mental and physical stress and also the impact on their lives. The results of the survey are processed into graphs and completed with comments. The results show that the pandemic has led to changes in the nursing work, which have been reflected in their personal lives. The nurses physical health did not deteriorate significantly, but most nurses experience negative mental changes.
