Duchennova svalová dystrofie (DMD) je X-vázané recesivní onemocnění, které postihuje asi 1 z 3 500 živě narozených chlapců. Pro jeho diagnostiku na molekulární úrovni se využívá hlavně metoda MLPA, která odhalí delece a duplikace zasahující jeden a více exonů genu. Abstract:
Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), is an X-linked recessive disorder that affects 1 in 3 500 live male births. For its diagnosis at the molecular level is mainly used MLPA analysis that detects deletions or duplications covering one or more exons of the gene.
